The Knicks are focusing on selecting a wing or a big man with the No. 9 pick in the NBA Draft on June 21, and are unlikely to take a point guard even if Oklahoma’s Trae Young or Alabama’s Collin Sexton fall, a league source told SNY.tv.
“I’d be shocked if they took a guard at 9,” the league source told SNY.tv. “I’d be shocked.”
“Everybody wants Carter and Porter to fall,” the source said. “[The Knicks] are looking for a wing, a four, a five, they’re not taking a guard. They’re not taking a guard.”
