May 18, 2013: The Knicks are eliminated from the Eastern Conference Semifinals with a 106-99 Game 6 loss in Indiana. The Knicks have not played in a playoff game since this date.
1999: Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell combine for 65 points in leading the Knicks to a Game 1 victory in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
1997: Missing John Starks and Larry Johnson from suspensions (due to leaving the bench during a fight in Game 5), the Knicks are eliminated in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, losing in Miami 101-91.
1994: A questionable foul call on Scottie Pippen gives Hubert Davis the chance to sink two clutch free throws with 2.1 seconds to play, giving the Knicks an 87-86 victory and 3-2 Eastern Conference Semifinals series lead.
1993: Knicks defeat Charlotte 105-101 to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 1974. Charles Oakley provided a spectacular performance with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
