Knicks become the first team to win a Game 7 vs Boston and advance to the NBA Finals.

After squandering a 3-1 series lead, the Knicks limped back to Boston (Earl Monroe was battling an ankle injury) for Game 7. Due to injuries and foul trouble, the Knicks were forced to play the entire second half with the same lineup. Walt Frazier played an amazing 47 minutes, scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Confronted with all of that, as well as the ghosts of Boston in Game 7s (10-0 entering the contest), the Knicks somehow won in a rout 94-78 to advance to the NBA Finals.
